The In re Huron Consulting Group, Inc. class action lawsuit was commenced in August 2009. In November 2009, the Court appointed Public School Teachers' Pension & Retirement Fund of Chicago, the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System, the City of Boston Retirement Board, the Cambridge Retirement System, and the Bristol County Retirement System as Lead Plaintiffs and appointed Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC, Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossman LLP, and Labaton Sucharow LLP as Lead Counsel.
The Lead Plaintiffs have reached a proposed settlement of the Action for a total of $27 million in cash plus 474,547 shares of Huron common stock (the "Settlement Shares") that were valued at approximately $11 million as of November 24, 2010, based on the closing price of $23.18 per share of Huron common stock that day. The proposed settlement, if approved by the Court, will resolve all claims in the Action.
